Why Tastes Delicious exists

Search for a recipe today and there's a good chance the top result was never cooked by anyone. It was generated, not made — assembled from patterns in other recipes, with no one standing over a stove checking whether the times, temperatures, or ratios actually work in a real kitchen.

Tastes Delicious is a bet against that. Every recipe here was written by a real food blogger who cooked the dish, photographed their own kitchen counter, and published it under their own name. We didn't write any of them, and we never will — we're a catalog, not a content mill. Our job is to make the good, human-made recipes easier to find, not to replace the people who made them.

That's also why every card here links you back out to the original site instead of copying the recipe onto this one. Clicking through sends you — and the traffic, and the credit — to the person who actually cooked it. If you like what you find, their site is where the rest of their work lives too.

Right now that means recipes from a small, growing network of working food bloggers, including several sites of our own. As it grows, the standard stays the same: a real person cooked this, and you can go see exactly where.
